Well it all started out with pumping bad gas into my crap bucket a week ago from a Shell station, since then I have had a alternator die, replace 40 dollars worth of 93 octane, replace the fuel filters, kill a 255hp pump, 2 sets of nkg bpr8es, and about to blow my head off with having to work on this crap so much. Now the car wont boost until i put crazy load on it, and even then it only gets up to 3-5psi at like 5400rpms with the AFR's sitting around 11.4. So we put the boost leak tester on the turbo and tried to hit it with 20psi....NOTHING on the boost gauge..ZERO. It leaks out of the cold side housing of my sc5252e PTE turbo, and when i say leak i mean its like its coming out of inbetween were the actual snail sit on the plating for the compressor blade. Ive looked and looked for a place to buy the rubber seal that goes behind there and I pretty certain thats whats happened is its been blown out....now heres what makes me think not and why i dont wont to pull of the turbo. Like I said the car was running perfectly fine before that gas incident and it started this turbo crap right after within a couple miles, and I dont drive the car hard. Low boost is set for 14psi and high boost at 30psi which it rarely gets to see and I havent boosted over 14psi since this all happened, actually I havent boosted over 5psi since all this happened. Compression checks out, fuel pressure is good.

I just want to know if someone else has had similiar problems and figured out what was wrong or if anyone knows where i could get that seal from online. PTE/SlowBoyShipping(Racing) doesnt have anything on there site that I could find to help me replace this seal and I have no idea where to look LOL.

You can check out my profile to see all what Im running.

Thanks Josh

Sounds like you've answered your own question with the boost leak check. Who did you purchase the turbo from? Have you called PTE about it?

Thanks for clearing that up. Only reason why I even asked the question on here was to double check my thoughts and what it has boiled down to. Im calling PTE in a few to see what they say....problem same ole same ole....

holy crap. spent the day working on the car and it had jumped 14 teeth on the crank and didnt mess anything up. compression is still good and the car boost once more, replaced the seal on the turbo also from a ebay turbo that was damn close so everything on the car is go once more.

now its just a wait and see game and figure out why it jumped time when everythings new with only a couple thousand miles on it...=\

damn this incident is costing me big time LOL. tonight the 9 month old battery took a shit on my chest, has a bad cell. also car is running horrible now with crazy rich ass AFRs and then going lean as shit and after driving the car home last night from the my shop after the timing was done now my speedometer doesnt work but did last night....WTF.

LOL.

reminds me of a Lil Wayne song called "I feel Like Dying".
