1G Having problems with my boost

Okay I have a Talon TSi and well I been working on my car and I have fixed the black smoke coming out of the exhaust but now my car accelerates and boosts a little bit then cuts off then boosts again like two seconds later then cuts off then boost again two seconds later and so and so on... What can this be?

how much boost does it hit before backing off? Is everything stock or have you turned up the boost. It could be fuel cut possibly, or if it just hits boost and backs off then hits again it could even be just a bad boost leak. Fuel cut the whole car will shutter basically and boost leak will just be a normally smooth but noticeable power loss/gain.

so basically its a boost leak? but the boost hit about 14... than backs off and starts again and so on and so on. anything else or other tips

Sounds more like a boost leak than fuel cut. You probably want to check for any boosts leaks before you try other things, hopefully if it is a boost leak you wont have to spend alot of money. As far as fuel cut goes and dont quote me on this, but I dont think any stock DSM would hit fuel cut. What are your mods for your car?

make sure you have the vaccum line hooked up to the wastegate

A completely stock dsm should not hit fuel cut unless something is messed up. Sounds like you have a vaccum line messed up or boost in general. More than likely its an older car and the lines tend to get dried up and turn to complete crap over the years.

edit: you said your car hits 14? I don't think that is the stock psi for our cars correct me if im wrong though. Someone will have to clarify on that though it could be fuel cut if you have turned the boost up any.
