97-99 transmission..

What's up guys I was just wondering if the 97-99 awd transmission is the same. I have a 99 gsx and I am going to purchase a 97 awd transmission as a spare. Will there be any issues? I do know the 95-96 trans is not the same as the 97-99 but I just wasn't to make sure. Thanks

If the top model marking on the transmission between the top mounting holes of the bellhousing, says W5M33-2-MUZT, then that is a 97-99 transmission. They are all the same unless the previous owner(s) have been in it and swapped final drives.
