So i recently purchased a GST and i knew from the start it needed a tune. it goes really rich easily on the wideband and you can smell it so ive literally drove it like 15miles home and maybe a mile after that just to show my buddies the car, ran fine then besides the lean problem, now as soon as it starts to build boost it falls flat on its face, id assume this is due to it needing a tune? just making sure before i go and pay to have it tuned

It sounds like you do need a tune, but have you had a chance to check to make sure everything is adjusted correctly like your AFPR? Have you checked for boost leaks, etc? It's up to you if you would want to spend the time to troubleshoot everything or just have them do it for you at the shop you take it to.
