96 GST MTX Locked up

I have done some searching but i havent found anything specific about this. I have a 96 Gst with about 120k on it. The clutch was just replaced about 1000 miles ago with an exedy. When pullin gout of the drive way, i shifted from 1st to second, and the trans ground, and then locked up the wheels even with the clutch in. The shifter is stuck in 2nd gear and wont move.

So either i broke a shift fork or got it stuck in 2 gears. I got the car to roll by removing the passenger axel and having the clutch depressed in. Im going to pull it friday but just want to see what you guys thing it could be.

So the driver axle was still in when you got the car to roll?

yes with the pass axle out and drivers in i can roll it while pushing in the clutch but as soon as you release the clutch the car dies and doesnt roll

Possible the flywheel came lose? I would say no matter what you have to pull the transmission, so start with that and see what you find.

Hop under the car and make sure your clutch release fork is travelling within spec.
