96 gs running warmer than normal....help!!!

hey guys i have a 96 gs and the temp is running about 3/4 of the way on the temp gauge where it normally use to stay at 1/2.it only does this after it runs for about 20min or so.
i have changed the thermostat and flushed the radiator and checked the fans.everything is working properly.it will go between 1/2-3/4 while driving down the road thats what i don't get.
what else could it be guys?

Did you install the thermostat facing the right way? Not upside down?

i'm pretty sure its in right with the spring toward the engine block.
and the lil ridge that sticks out up.

When you replaced the thermostat, did you use the same temperature range? IF you bought a higher range thermostat, it'll run warmer.

I believe its stamped on the flange of the thermostat somewhere.

Did you try burping the cooling system after you did the flush? My other car was running extremely warm with normal driving. I burped the system and never had the problem again.

I try and put the car at some sort of an incline, remove the radiator cap, start the car and let it run for about 45 min. I usually place a fan in front of the car to get some sort of airflow. You'll see air start to come out of the coolant. This is air that is trapped somewhere in the cooling system. When the air comes out, the coolant drops, so make sure to fill it back up. Continue this until no more air comes out.

Don't know if this will fix your problem, but it is worth a shot.
