When I first noticed this i thought it was a problem with the fuel pump, or something fuel related. The battery is good and I changed the spark plugs around 300 miles ago. I noticed as i turn the radio on before i try to start the car, it starts.. (radio/audio system is stock)... then when i try to start it the car with the radio off, the engine cranks but doesn't start. Another issue is with the headlights, if i turn the radio on with the headlights on, the radio doesn't work, but when the headlights off it works. Im assuming this is an electrical issue as to why the car isn't starting?

That's wear on a stock car.

The only thing that comes to my mind is, some one did a cut off switch, I did one with the stereo and it does exactly what yours does, if the stereo is not ON, the car will not start, unless the stereo turns on, once the stereo turns ON, it will enable the relay and will allowed current to what ever sensor it is hooked up to.

My advice is, bring the stereo out and check the wires at the back of the stereo, see if there is a wire attached to the original wiring, if there is, fallow it till you get to the relay.

Check that and report back what you find, if you can't see anything, insert some pics of the wires and we can tell you if there is any abnormal on the wiring.
