95 talon ecm v3 link help

So i recently have swapped a 6 bolt in my 95 talon, everything has been a smoth and going surprisingly easy, until i got the car running and im having trouble connecting my laptop to my car. everytime i try and connect i get this msg (scan failed to find a workings connection)

My computer is a mac os x 10.6.8

No I've changed nothing, I got my ecu back from repair plugged it in and tried starting a few times and haven't touched it yet, all the tuning is completely new to me. So right the car is all stock besides the swap I wanted to get it running before I put on all my other parts.

You have a 6 bolt correct? Is the Cas wired up correctly, to work with the 2g ecu?

Yeah its right, the car ran for a few day on the stock ecu but I haven't been able to get it running since.

Definitely watch the ecmlink videos. Also, can you give more details like cranks over, clicking, or etc?

It Tries To Crank But VERY SLOWLY sounds exactly like a bad starter, and yes I've replace it twice to just make sure.

Have you ruled out the battery?

Yes its brand new battery and I tried jumping it with my daily and a jump box and it still doing the same thing
