i have a chance to get free block its out of 95 Hyundai with a 1.8l dohc. I was wondering if its the same as our block with just a bigger bore. i was also wondering about the head if there were differences or not. I was also wondering if some could tell me if it was a 6bolt or 7bolt thanks!

would anyone know a good place to look for more info?

Same stroke as the 4g63 2.0L, just a smaller bore. It's basically the same engine. The head is the same as the 2.0 except that the combustion chamber volume is smaller, so it gives you .41:1 more compression if you put it on a 1g 2.0 turbo DSM. They are 6-bolt's.

Mitsubishi calls it a 4G67, Hyundai calls it a G4CN. 1836cc; bore & stroke: 81.5x88

9.2:1 compression with 124hp/116torque.

The 1.6L (4g61/g4cr) has a shorter stroke and 'supposedly' the intake ports are smaller like a 2g (I haven't pulled an intake to confirm. 1595cc 82.3x75. 9.2:1 w/ 113hp/102torque.
