hi everyone, i searched alot but cant find a similar problem as mine,
so sometimes (not every day) when i drive my car the check engine light comes on and as soon as i remove my foot from the gas pedal the light goes, i press again the pedal and i comes again etc, i let the car goes like that with just a little amount of pressure on the pedal and it goes well. When it occures if i keep pressing the pedal (with the check engine light on) it has a loss of power i can feel.
I replaced the spark plugs and the pcv valve and still the same problem.
I know there is a big hole on the cat caused by rust, can it be the problem?
Keep in mind it dont do this every day, sometime it run perfectly during one week

thank you for the helps

I would take it somewhere that can scan for check engine light for free like autozone or advanced auto parts.

no body else have a suggestion?
could that be caused by a sensor? MAF? TPS?
there is nothing to do with knock cause it didnt sounds like detonation.
And no backfire or strange exhaust sound like misfire.
