Ok, so here is what’s going on with my car. I was late for work a few days ago so when I got onto the highway I was driving quickly, ok I was flooring it (there were no cars in my way!) and I shifted to from 2nd to 3rd gear and my car just started to bog and die down, as in the gas pedal was down, but the revs were not going up, so I pulled over, turned off my car, looked to see if any of the hoses were loose, which they were not, so I couldn’t figure it out, but when I started my car it was fine again, so I drove it slowly to work, but when I drove home, if I started to build any kind of boost my car would start to bog again, so I had a auto mechanic look at it, but when I took it to him It was running perfectly so he couldn’t find anything wrong with it, but when I drove it home it started doing the same thing again, so I cant figure out what is wrong, I am going to check the spark plugs, basically im going to do a full tune-up, anyone have any thoughts of what it could be? Any help would be great, thanks!

yep boost leak hiding. I did a similar thing but my boost leak was so bad i couldnt start my car. the culprit was the injector seals.
nothing like having to get towed on the freeway after you blew past someone on the on-ramp:notgood:

haha, ive had that happen before, but its when my bottom hose blew off

anyways i will do a boost leak test and get back to ya guys.

i just thought about it, it might be my fuel filter, 95 eclipse, 100k+ miles, stock filter...

How is your gas mileage? I had a problem similar to that and my spark plug wires were breaking down.

Also get a small wire brush and clean the contact on the coil. I found mine to have some green stuff on them

the Fuel filter is rarely the cause; I wasted $30 on one

is your cel on?

someone please leave me a point for a rep

well i just changed my wires and plugs a few months ago, so i should check the plugs. my cel is on because i dont have a cat on the car. i will keep ya guys updated.

i found MAS cleaner, would that work on the honey comb style MAS? didnt say it would, but didnt say it wouldent OMG
