So when I rebuilt my motor I had to put a crank in it. I bought the crank from the machine shop and it came with acl tri metal bearings, I got 1200 miles on it and it started knocking turned around went home droped the pan and number three was loose pulled the motor. Took her all apart and dropped the crank off at the machine shop along with all four rods to be checked. Time to build thought came to mind. So looking on extreme psi I decided to buy a few little things, aem uego, fuel lab 515 afpr, 255 walbro, ECM link, 880cc pte injectors, hallman boost contoller, acl racing bearings and, fel-pro gasket set. Then I got the idea of awd so I started searching and looked for a awd shell and couldn't find any thing close nor in my price range, so I just looked for parts and could find any thing close nor in my price range. So I posted a wtb add on here and got a hit from a guy in Miami his name is David I don't remember his screen name is but he's giving me a killer deal on every thing so I am going to buy that stuff today and my awd swap will soon be under way!!!!

some how talked me into sending a money order. Dude sounded cool on the phone and knew his stuff. Sent the money never heard from him again. Just goes to show some people are just out to get you!

Dang that sucks.
My buddy almost got scammed out of $3500. This guy had a 2gb gst for sale with some tasteful mods. They talked over phone for a week, and the guy made it look legit by having all of his and my buddies information on a ebay transfer account thing. He told my buddy he would ship it too him. He convinced my buddy to send the money through western union. Well he did...The next day i was roaming through dsmtuners as I do everyday and some dude said this guy was a scammer. I told my buddy about it and he hurried up and called western union. Lucky enough the guy wasnt fast enough to take my buddies money. It was a close call!

woooooooooooww... this guy almost Got me for $400 on a ETS KIT Almost new FMIC..

Sounded so Legit until i told him i got friends and family down at about 45mins to an hour away from him, that i was going to send , and he said sorry sold, a minute after that!!.... stupid son a of a B####... i think we should get this guy HARD!!!.. now i somehow can come up with the excuse of "supposedly having someone near any weird seller out there"....i personaly think is a good idea.. then ill come up with something so see what they say....

BE CAREFUL!!!!! i think someone here is a victim :(

Wow, I thinkhe almost got me to. I put my 7 bolt non-turbo ad up. literally like 3 mins later, I got this text about, him having a low milage 7 bolt non-turbo bla bla bla with trans. He will ship to me from flordia. I could pay in money order. Luckily I told him I always pick up my stuff myself. Well, he just kept insisting on the shipping so I kinda figured it was him.

Wire transfer, money orders and the like are very dangerous ways of doing deals. Especially with someone on the internet. Use paypal and save yourself headaches.

Damn and I live down south too. He might go to all the meets as well. Crazy. But like they say on creigslist about scammers 3rd Party websites as transactions SCAM! Money Transfers through Western Union SCAM!. I feel bad because thats only 5-7 of you on here...I know he got a bunch of Honda guys!
