I picked up a rear diff from a 98, will this work in my 95?

If not, can I open up the casing and swap gears? (Pretty sure my rear diff is fine, but the diff broke off the car when the trasnfer case locked up)

Thanks.

Yeah after some more searching it seems only Auto/manual are different...
Thats good to know :)

LSD's came in all 2G years, 95-99. To know if you have one stock their should be a bright orange sticker when you open the driver's side door, where the normal stickers for tire pressure/curb weight are.

Any 95-99 Manual rear will work in a manual car, and any auto will work in an auto car.
