95-96 A/T wire harness swap in a 5speed

Hi tuners,


I have a brand new 95-96 A/T Engine wire harness, and i have a 6bolt with a 5speed trans in my car, the harness thats on my car is messed up so im swapping the harness..
the question is will i be able to plug and play with this A/T harness in a M/T 2g?

what do i need to do, in order for everything to work properly? i heard something about reverse lights being lost and jumping something? can someone tell me what i need to do so i dont kill myself over this please!!!

Its all pretty much plug and play, between a m/t harness and an a/t harness. The reverse lights is the only difference between the 2. But I forgot exactly what had to be changed for them to work
I just did a quick 5second search. It should help you out.

It will all work, you just need to wire up the reverse lights and bypass the Neutral Safety Switch. See this.

Im still confused on what to do because the diagram the guy made here 2g automatic to manual swap is different to where this guy wired it here


explain please! im still sitting here not doing anything because its confusing and i dont want to screw this up the first time i do it.

Could someone explain two things to me.
1. how to wire the reverse lights so they work
2. how to wire and jump the neutral safety switch
