With the temps above 40 and the sun out, it was time to get to work on getting this rear end back in today




D2 Coilovers, Paul Volk toe arms, ARP extended studs, OEM hubs and bearings, ES bushings, Adam Proto solid bushings in the subframe.




Of course I had to mount the slips on to see what they would look like and to my surprise I actually like the bronze so I may be stripping the paint and powder coating them bronze instead of my original plan.

Thanks! Will do. It would be on a lift next door but I don't want to tie up their lift for the 2-4 hours a week I get to work on it.

Got the wheels powder coated Golden Bronze. Now we need to decide on a rotor, get some spacers and get some Brembos mounted up on the rear. Shooting to have the rear finalized by the end of next week if we catch enough warm days.

Caught another warm day and waiting on a few things to finish up the rear so I decided to get the front end out and get to work on restoring all of it.

Tearing down the bay to start prepping for paint, only a few more things left to take off and that will be the last of dis-assembling the car so we can finally start putting it all back together

Had to modify the factory dust shield to fit the evo rotors on them since I forgot about this before installing them on the hub:

Rear Diff Installed


Currently working on getting our rear axle situation figured out as we have quite a few but every outer cv shaft is damaged in one way or another. Sway bar will be going on later this week along with new brake lines and mounting the tires on the slipstreams since we just got in some Dunlop Direzzas for them.
