i have a 94 eclipse gs, im trying to put a the 2nd gen turbo on, what all will i need, if anyone knows a list of parts i would need that would be great, and do i need to get a turbo ecm or can i bi-pass the the harness link for the waste gate with a diff external waste gate? and if i do need a turbo ecm does anyone have one for sale that is already socketed and ready for e-prom? any help would be great.

i have been serching i can find any and all parts i could possibly need just need a little insight from someone thats done this before or has a gsx or a gs turbo and knows how its set up. there are not many first gens out here that have actual work done there mostly stock, will a little color added and a bov, thats why i left the inquiry in here. plus the dsm community out here is not as tightly nit as other places, we have dsm meets but not a lot of them. so if you have any ideas or recomendations on a way to get the turbo on that would be great. the motor is a 4g63t by the way, some num nut took the turbo off the motor b4 i got the car. stupid i know but everything has been moded to a non turbo ecluding the ecm.

You'd be better off installing a 1g(14b) turbo setup. It is a capable of much more power than a 2g(t25). The necessary parts from a 1g will make the 14b a direct fit and easier install.
There is plenty of parts and info available to make this a simple and straightforward job.

Thats a great idea, i saw he wa newbie, but yeah the 14b is great try to find one or even 16g.

how much does a stock 1g(14b) go for? does the ecm have to be swaped though thats my biggest concern, and im pretty sure the stock n/t injectors will not supply enough fuel, ( am i correct or will they?)

No there cheap look on ebay, get a turbo computer and 450cc injectors. thats your stock set up right there. Get a logger, to monitor things with.

yea i noticed that also. You got alot of work ahead of you buddy. I would say at least a months of reading in and out of the forums. that also depends how much work you are going to do yourself. "Labor aint cheap" - Lil Bow wow in Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.

the 14b is a great turbo, its the one i have in my current talon. It can be tuned and put out more power then the stock set up. Don't go with the t-25, just not worth it.

Look up in the forums how to so a turbo conversion. There are at least 2 really detailed articles on how to do the conversion. you are going to need alot of time and money (I only say money because there can be many costly mistakes along the way).

Check out the articles mavisky has written on this website. Hes a dsmtuners.com member who has the experience with this.

i have most of the parts needed already iv been at this for about 4 months on the research my biggest prob is finding the time to rip my block out and make sure its the turbo motor. like i said preveously, the motor to the best of my knowledge came out of a 94 gsx, becasue that was all the other owner could get at the time so he had to put all the other parts back on it from the stock gs, so i have the motor covered which runs like shit at the moment, i can only assume it has to do with that swap. and thank you for all the info, it helps a lot, and yes i am gonna follow through and do it im half way there already and have all the things i need at the shop. if anyone has any other advice or suggestion let me know.

if i were you i would just get the 14b...
