Ok I bought this 94 eclipse from a guy as a project for myself. The guy selling it told me that it was the timing belt and water pump well i checked everything and it was just the timing belt. The water pump wasn't back firing and it moved it wasn't seized. So i bought all the belts (water pump, alternator, timing, and ac) replaced all of them. I put everything back together tried starting it and it started smoking out the intake. It smelled like exhaust now here's my question how or what could've caused this and how can it be fixed? I was thinking the timings off but i had everything lined up or so i thought. So could someone help me with this i would like to take my car out of the garage. Thanks
