94 DSM NA auto, 4g63 wont start. help :)

wont start...

car sat for awhile, had headgasket issues. pulled the motor apart and replaced the gasket.

retimed the motor perfect by the vfaq when it was put together, verified fuel on all four injectors and spark on all four plugs. compression is OK.

so it just cranks. everything is plugged in, maf, vac lines, coolant temp sensor. starting fluid doesnt help. plugs are drenched in gas when we pull them. they are gapped OK.

any ideas?

Check if there are current in the high tension wires... if there's no spark,
check high tension wires, coilpack, CAS,

or most likely you have inserted the CAS in the reversed position...

If starting fluid doesn't help then you aren't getting spark, I agree with incredijax check ohms on plug wires and let us know

id adgree with checking if you CAS is installed properly
and it never hurts to tear it apart and make shure everything is fine
