i know that this topic has been beaten to death by others but i'm new when it comes to fixing cars in general so i really don't know where to start.. ok bought a 93 eclipse from complete stranger as a project car.. little did i know that it was gonna be a complete hell. ya ya got the lecture..
learned my lesson.. i had to replace the complete brake line from the front of the car to the back passenger side of the eclipse because they capped it off from the front and all of the brake line rusted out. along with the calipers, caliper housings, and rotors. basically the brakes in the back had seized open... fixed that but as i was driving away from the shop the power steering belt broke. had to redline the car back to the shop and replace the belts.... unfortunately for me i didn't check the oil in the car and didnt see that it had been burnt to hell
. now i have an engine knock because i rode around for 20mins without oil. sigh.. so i really don't know which way to go from here. i don't have a big budget but i do wanna go for performance qualities. open ear
