sorry typed this on my phone at work on break...
ok i have a 92 tsi awd 5speed, the car has sat for acouple years. the prev owner put a reman head from autozone. When i got it wouldnt start i changed plugs/ plug wires, new batt, alternator. checked for boost leaks, checked all relays/fuses. heres what it does cold start, dosnt want to rev very well till it gets to running temp. once it gets to running temp it will throw a check engine light. then i can take a pull first and second gear and it will not run drops fuel pressure. but if i let it cool for a second i can limp it home a block away. now it does have a walbro 255, and i changed it out with my neighbors 190 walbro, and it will hold fuel pressure but wont boost while driving and dosnt like to go over 3,000 rpm. iv takin the ecu out and took pics and sent them to ecmtuning.com and they said it wont effect what im describeing.

and yes im new to dsm's im org a honda's and tired of fwd LOL

Do you have an AFPR ?
If you do what does it read without the vac line on it (take it off and plug with finger.)

Are you sure you installed the fuel pump correctly?
What is your CEL ?
Do compression test, leak down test.

But I would find out what your CEL is to start off.
