91 talon spoiler

Trying to decide what to do with the spoiler on my 91 talon tsi. Its the big wrap around one. I am deleting the rear wiper. But I don't know what I should do with the spoiler and the hole. What other spoiler options are out there that might look better? I have already decided on deleting the sideskirts. Trying to save weight so that is a factor.

Any ideas?

Your really not going to save weight by ditching the spoiler or your side skirts. Don't know of any other spoiler option tat looks good. You culd just remove the wper as I did unless having te spot where it ued to be uncovered bothers you

Between the sideskirts, the upper door tim and the wrap around spolier I bet I could save about 20lbs. I'm just not sure if I want the car spoiler less. Has to be some other options out there.

you could always body filler the wiper hole. or switch with a laser trunk? its got a smaller wing

Weight savings for what, your exhaust, bov, and nitrous?

Weight savings are for people who hit the track alot..

Your really willing to sacrifice the entire look of the car (IMO the 1g TSi look great) to save yourself 20lbs, if even that?

What is your purpose for this anyway? Obviously your not doing it to make the car look better.

haha. Didn't really pick up the car for looks. Its far from it. But yes every pound counts. Just figured there would be another option that wouldn't make it look too terribly bad. .

Welding the windshield wiper and antenna hole shut etc.

I got ya, in that case why put a spoiler back on at all? You can consider it basic then.. Not ugly.. Lol
