91 laser motor question

My cousins dad has recently purchased him a 91 laser n/t. He is interested in building it up but i'm totally unfamiliar with the car. Can someone what motor came in the car? What turbo motor will fit.

There are 2 N/T cars for 90-94. A 1.8L and a 2.0. Find it if it's a SOHC, if so it's a 1.8 and if not, it's a 2.0.

get the 4g63 turbo engine, its the stock turbo engine in the premium models, is it a sohc or dohc in that laser.

i think it is the 2.0 motor. But i guess my question was would the 4g63 fit. What type of mods are needed to make it fit.
