what are the factory 0-60 and 1/4 mile times for a 1991 talon ES, and how much trouble would it be to make this engine turbo? would i have to redo the internals? or would it be easier to do an engine swap? thanks in advance guys p.s is 1,700$ a good price for one of these with 191k miles

You can turbo a nt, theres a vfaq on it, but its kinda going to limit youre power output...
easiest would probably to drop a 4g63t into the nt body, than the next issue you will eventually encounter is destroying the nt tranny with a decent amount of power, which eventually I imagine you would obtain.
The better option would be to drop a 4g63t into the car even if it means premature tranny failure, gotta pay to play.

Id try to get that down...ALOT. thats alot of miles and an old car.
I paid 900 for a running 91 ES with 130k miles. The car better be in REALLY good shape to be worth that much. Hell for an extra 500 bucks or so you could have a turbo, or even turbo awd car and not have to worry about a swap.
