Washington,
I was doing a once-over of a TRE transmission I recieved that I will be putting in my Galant later this spring. While I was examining it, I noticed something odd. I have no experience with 91-94 transmissions, so I figure to ask you guys:

Shouldn't there be two levers for the shift mechanism? (Click for a larger image)

Take a couple more pictures. Top, inside bell housing, and the other side and bottom if possible. Especially inside the bell housing.

Yes there is one missing. There is two bolt holes on the bell housing where it bolts on. That is the neutral lane one that pulls the shaft out or pushes it in. I have the part if you need it. Pm me if you need one. Thank you.

Uasually these guys (Shep, TRE) tell you to take off anything that can be taken off the trans when you leave it with them for a rebuild. The shift lever you describe can be taken off.
