will a 1990 nt motor swap in to a 96 2g turbo
WHY WOULD I DO THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well im a little tight on money and i have a blown turbo 2g gst (check out my profile to see the damage) and a friend gave me a 1g nt motor will it work until i get money together to get a new motor or any better ideas on the motor swap or were to get one and even other cars that have the same motor as my 2g please help!!!

Well the 2G 4G63t being a 2.0 was obvious. If the 4G37 is able to be swapped over to the 2G, there will be custom work, where it might be cheaper to get a 4G63 from a junkyard, and fix it up or get one off the classifieds, seen a few good deals on there. Also just food for thought, but if you thought the 1.8L 4G37 that pushes an amazing 95hp at the crank was "fast", the 2G will be even "faster" since its wider, and heavier.

The 4g63T is found in any 90-99 Eclipse, 90-98 Talon, and 90-94Laser(turbo models only).

Edit: Whoops I forgot, it's also found in the 91-92 Galant VR4.

As far as i know, the 6 bolt turbo and no turbo blocks are the same. The only thing i have heard that are different is that the nt dont have the oil squirters.
