can 1gb talon ownesr use a 9006 hid kit with minimal modification..is it a plug and play system.... I am looking at shard hid's kit. You dont have to do a retrofit like the 1ga do you?

Please consider a retrofit. The reflectors in your existing housing were designed for the light output of a halogen bulb. It is not made for an HID capsule. Yes it will throw light in front of your car, but cut-off is compromised, and beam pattern is compromised. Once you go OEM HID you will be sold and will not go back to regular halogen.

You can pick up 1gb headlights with a clear front lens and retrofit OEM HID projectors easily enough. Trust me, it is worth the hassle. I've experimented with almost every HID set-up possible to match/exceed the output on my OEM BMW and the best way is an OEM retro.
