i have a question about quck relese i just bought a 90 talon tsi i went from a 94 talon es cause it jumped time and the body just wasent worth putting a new motor in so i got this car from a freinds shop that just rebuilt the top end any ways how do i set it up for quick relese mode is that what they are talking about on the dodge garage with the bov i am new to the whole turbo thing well i am new to the whole tuner thing can someone tell me how to set it up or give me a link on reading more about it i have also been looking at crushed vs non crushed bov i have seen how to do it on the dodge garage but am not sure if it will benifit me or not any more info on it would help as well thanks alot

Unless you plan on running more than 18lbs of boost, crushing the BOV will only make it hold more boost, and require more boost to make it open.

You can crush your bov and it won't affect how it opens at lower psi. Will just be able to handle more power. It is very easy. Just take the stock BOV off, put it in a vice, and literally crush the top part of it down maybe 1/8'' - 1/4''. It will enable the BOV to hold more boost when you want it to. As far as the Dodge Garage Mod goes. It is a good mod but not really for a beginner and 99% of the people on here don't do it. It isn't something that will really benefit you personally. Just crush the one you have but don't go to far. And it isn't really refered to as quick release mode. It is basically enabling you to hold more boost just like crushing would.
