90 Talon Poor Idle and Bogging/Spitting Under Throttle

My brother has a 90 Talon and has been having issues with the way it runs for a while now. It has dsmlink and according the computer isn't throwing any codes. Completely stock under the hood except for an afpr and walbro 255 rewired. The car starts just fine and idles right around 800 which is what it's set for in dsmlink. Feels a bit rough, though. When you give it any gas it bogs real bad, right around 3k. Almost sounds like a 2 step. We can't even drive the car around. It tends to die after being revved. I thought the fuel pump always primed itself when you flipped the key forward, but it'll only do it when you check the box in dsmlink, and or when the car has been started. Vacuum is somewhere between 15 and 20in.

Sorry if I've rambled on and haven't explained myself good enough, it's been a long day and am fairly tired. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Almost forgot, the car likes to get really hot when idling too. Shoots up passed 210 in less than 10 minutes.

The ecu is running v3lite and is on a stock evo 1 map.

if its overheating that quickly and runs/idles rough, i say do a compression test. Bet the headgasket it blown. Goodluck

Compression is good across the board. No coolant in oil or oil in coolant either.
