im putting my 90 ecu in my 91 talon
what wires do i need to change, and what sensors do i need to do this?
i know it was on vfaq but i couldn't find it.. so any help would be apprecited.. thanks

All you need to do is switch pin 6 and pin 14 around one wire is green, the other wire is green/white. Might want to take the cover of the ecu and check the caps before installing too. :thumb:

Can the opposite be done? Putting a 91 ECU into a 90? If so what do I need to change?

awsome.. thankss.. oh yea the caps are good thats why im using my 90 ecu, because i got it socketed for a chip and new caps not to long ago..

ok so anyways... now i know what wires need to be changed.. now i need to find out what sensors i need to change? my friend told me i need a 91 tb sensor, and camangle sensor, and some others?, is that correct?

yes it can be done.. you have to do the samething, swap wires 6 and 14 around on the harness.

ive never heard of having to swap out sensors when your swapping out 1g ecus.. i have a 93 ecu in my 90 and i still run the 90 sensors.. but i might be wrong.??

oh sorry i guess i worded that last part about the sensors wrong... i fergot to mention, i swapped my 90 motor into my 91 and certain sensors i gotta change, i just dont know which ones.
