$88.00 4" Cold Air Intake

I thought I'd share this. I pieced together my own 4" Cold Air Intake for my 92 Talon with a Holset HX40 for cost savings measures, since as we all know stuff adds up.
Here is how I made mine and it fits PERFECT.
It's made up of some random parts but it all work great even tho its from Ebay. We customize all our stuff anyway!
Just look at the pictures of the parts and pricing and shipping and compair. I am not hacking on any other company that sells a ready to go set up, but this allowed me to cut the tube to my custom length with plenty to spare.
I ordered the 1999-2006 Seirra Cold Air Kit, the 4" 45* coupler WITH T BOLTS (I use big hose clamps but...) and bought a Specte Cone Air Filter and I bet you guys haven't even noticed! Til now.
Here are the parts, you just cut the 4" aluminum tube to your length and put the 45* Coupler on the turbo (mine is a Holset, hence the 4" intake) and mount your cone filter on the other end!
Saved me money is the only reason I posted this and if you can just buy the 4" S shaped aluminum tube without buying that kit, you'll save even more $ for your other stuff :thumb:....because we know there is always "other stuff" :D
I think you will find this is about half the price of other 4" kits at the time of this post.

Got a picture of this installed? Just wondering what this all looks like. Did you notice a difference from your previous setup to this one?

None at all. It was just a cheaper way of doing the exact same thing. I could have probably done it even cheaper. :ohdamn:
