7bolt to 6bolt keeping 1g trans

Well this is my first post on these boards but I have been reading many posts trying to learn about DSM's. I have had my car for about 6 months now and I think it is time to change some stuff up. Ok ill get to the point, I have a 95 TSI AWD with an A/T and I just bought a 91 TSI AWD with a 5 speed. I want to take the 6 bolt and put it in the 2g but I also want to put the 5 speed from the 1g in the 2g also. What I am looking for is if it is even possible for the 1g 5 Speed to go into the 2g... I have all the tools and lifts because I am in the USAF and each base has an Auto hobby shop with all that good stuff. I am just looking for some advice.

it will involve some "fabrication". The 2g trans has 3 mounts going to it and the motor only 1 ... I think the 1gs are the exact opposite.

yea it'll be a nice amount of work I bet. Not sure if they sell adapter brackets or anything to make it easy
