what I have done since the journal system was changed. bulk mass update:

...and now let me show ya what little things I have done since I redid the BS belt and got it back on the road :thumb::hellyeah:

2GB bumper swap:

I swapped my old 2ga lights for 2gbs in AWESOME shape. Installed all new Silverstars in them as well. Ultras for low beams.

somehow I was able to salvage the 2gb talon fronts' lower bumper plate that keeps the bumper from flexing. only broke 1 bolt that was seized in. its now perfectly flat along the bottom of the FMIC. I also ordered new OEM Foglight bezels and junked both side inlet caps. I like the clean covered look:

I (during the bumper install timeframe) went back and installed the front BS belt and got the oil pump gear back in phase. no more vibrations, everything is great now).

Got tired of looking at the brand new, rusty FP mani:

yes....yes I did.....in the parking lot @ work. ROFL

2000deg Rustoleum Primer. I may cover that with black in the future.

damn good! hahaha

Threw the 18's back on since the weather ha been AWESOME :)

just an interior shot. hardwired the 12V adapter to clean up the exposed 12v source:

Hopefully find someone close to paint this bumper cover! it's ready to go.

I installed a power antenna from a 97-98 vert that works perfectly :). had to run 2 wires from the radio for proper up/down operation.

radio- it's up
AUX - it's down

Hope you boxed up the 2gb talon front bumper and put it somewhere safe. They are almost impossible to find and personally I think they look better than the 2GB eclipse bumper.

-the 2gb bumper is out back of the garage sitting....its already been cut up for the VRSF FMIC so it's not perfect. it was $32 so its all good.

-I have 3 SVTF. they are really good cars LOL.

-I liked the 2gb talon front but I wanted to get more of the FMIC into the airstream. This bumper was 2 UICP's trade from my buddy so It was nothing out of pocket for me. When its white it will really look great. I'm debating having the foglight surround bezels painted white as well.

-I think I will be leaving the CF off this car....I kinda like the "pre-CF" look with the black details instead. that and its cheaper!

I had wanted to get more airflow to the Radiator and before I went and had it painted I wanted to do this mod.

i decided to make a custom emblem for it. this is a 93 Summit ESi hood badge I had. It was flaking so i scratched the chrome off, touched up the black, and sprayed the background white for more panda look.

Fabbed up the emblem in its location with erector set parts (LOL) and painted em black. My thoughts finally coming to light :). I have that emblem "floating" in the grille :D

Seats & floor mats from a 2002 Eclipse GT. Black leather. Also got Black seatbelts that I swapped belts onto the 2g retractors (saw/vice/time needed to mod). Seats are DROP IN 100%! Seatbelts had to be COMPLETELY stripped form the retractors, the 3g retractors had to be ripped apart and then reused with the 2g retractors. this was VERY time consuming but I wanted black belts bad. it HAD to be done and my ADD allowed me to do this and fit it all up. thank god for ADD!

Checking 3g seats in a junkyard 2g:

WTF man. NEVER take off a 2gb talon bumper and put on a eclipse bumper.

This car was absolutely perfect before ): it was screen saver quality, now not so much.

I disagree 100%. :thumb:

badda bing, badda BOOM. My vision comes to life! the emblem is centered, picture angle is deceiving. (SHOUT OUT TO MAACO IN NEWARK, DE!!!!! WOW they are good)

Logged @ 70mph:

-stock 2gb with old rad: 206-210deg
-modded bumper with new oem style rad: 196deg. it jumped up to 200 a few times, then went right back down during a 20 min cruise.

so that lil hole and a fresh rad is worth a good 10deg. It also stayed cool at idle.

that is with NO water wetter. my logs showed the water wetter got it down from 206-10 to 202ish before I did the mods. if i add water wetter I may get closer to 190deg. Thats why I did it ;)

I admire your hard work. Nice wheels, too. They're neat.

But I can't post and not say that the 2gb talon bumper would look really really nice on your car. I'm sure it'll sit fine once it gets paint. How much did the 3g seats run you?

The vent is certainly bold, and absolutely looks like my gf's 1998 Civic EX, but props for boldness.

thanks. i try. i know some may not like it, bit this was a performance gain that I decided to make look good as well. Im over the 2gb eagle front now. it look like a fat lip @ certain angles. my fav bumper is the 2gb eclipse hands down. cooling, looks, price, abailability, its win-win.

The wheels were such a risk to do as no one has them but one red talon online, but they flow i believe. They are nice talons for the eagle ;)

the rear seats were maybe $50 total. one yard has rears for $38 a set. just gotta find a black set. no WAY I'd pay $200 for 2g rears now! LOL. its nice & soft too.

Started having fuel issues last week. O2 not cycling, replaced Front O2, still same issue. intermittent rich cruise and fuel on decel. Looks as if the stock FPR finally let go (I was cheap and ran the stocker instead of getting the AFPR). the 255 wally pressure on a stock FPR is enough to unscrew a band clamp and walk the fuel line down the nipple! thank god I caught it when I was checking my knock sensor for goo. coulda been BAD.

I dropped the cash and got another "It's sucking me dry but this car is pretty" part from Extreme Fuel Lab 515 kit....with help from the guys on how to assemble -AN lines. Extreme...once again you are the BEST. EVER.

I 100% agree, I think the eclipse bumper looks better, But at first I was not sure about the vent you cut in the bumper, But I must say it looks awesome now that its done :).

thanks guys!

If this AFPR fixes my issues with knock above 6deg of timing i will be the happiest kid on the block.

I'm going to install that sometime this weekend. I might take off monday just to tinker with some more things.

The future?....well...

-I need to be lower. GC sleeves/Megan springs/coilovers, SOMETHING to get my front wheel gap down
-Tranny needs redone by Dogbox
-Engine needs to be forged to handle an FP Green if i want to go that big. Probably JAM since they are close
-need to do rear 1/4 rust repair/general cleanup

did things today :)

I worked ghetto on the back yard today :p

BEGONE!!

side solid mounts, much tighter!

yay, less vac tree-ness on the firewall

fuel delivery is GREAT! very smooth now.
