7 bolt oil pump gasket pdf available for all

I made my own oil pump/front case gasket for a couple of reasons.
1-I didnt feel like paying $20 for something that I can get for $5 and
2-I didnt want to wait for shipping

the gasket fits good. all the bolt holes clear. sadly it doesnt fit one one piece of paper. just be sure to print at 100% and not shrink to fit or anything like that.

Question, what did you print it on? I know you can get gasket paper on a roll @ most autoparts stores But I am not sure how well it would work in a standard inkjet printer.

I didnt print it on anything. I made the gasket and then scanned it. now anyone can print that out on paper and use that as a template to make the gasket

That's a pretty neat idea. Take it a step further and, potentially, anyone with access to a laser cutter/engraver could scan the real gaskets into a computer, make a rendering of it, purchase gasket material, and start laser cutting. You'd be set with an endless supply gaskets!

Had I thought of that while I was at school and had access to a laser...

yea but once you figure in the cost of material and tooling, it'll probably cost the same

Yeah, if you buy your own laser.

The biggest investment in doing something like that would be your time in creating the drawings. If the tooling isn't yours but you have access to it anyways (I could use the laser M-F 7AM to ~6PM and sometimes on Saturdays) and you have a need (or greed) for affordable and abundant non-specialty gaskets (repair shop or something), that's a way to do it. Like I said, if I were still at school, this would have been unbelievably easy for me to do.

I just can find the gasket alone it only comes in a 50 dollar bottom end gasket kit

MIT MD322521 - that's the part number for a 7 bolt front case gasket. Sad thing is, I knew that by heart... I spend too much time around parts
