hey guys, i have a question...
would you guys use a sprung 6 puck with a act2100 pressure plate or an OEM disk with an act2100 pressure plate?

i cant change the 2100pressure plate becasue i already have that...i got the whole new clutch set 400 miles ago and i spilled coolant all over the disc, and now it slips...

so i just want a disc, im gonna daily drive it tho and so i guress i might be able tog et used to the grab power of the 6 puck and the 2100 pressure plate...
any opinions and suggestions?

I would go with a full face disk from ACT. The puck disks are very grabby and they suck on the street. The full face disks are more forgiving and are just more easyer on the vehicle to drive. Also some puck disks chatter at ingaugement. Make sure you clean your flywheel and pressure plate surfaces with brake clean before you install it.

use a sprung full face. I am very happy with ACT's disk.

Pucks are for race cars....you don't have a race car. Read www.roadraceengineering.com

here is the excerpt.

ACT also makes "Race" discs. Everyone thinks they have a race car, we don't think you do :) If you want a race disc (4 puck or 6 puck) call or e-mail and tell us why you want a broken tranny, heavy chatter, and extreme driveline noise. We will special order a "race" disc for you.

Honestly you won't have a problem with a full face disk until you get well beyond 400 ft-lb.
