which would be a lot eisier, cost effective, bulletproof, and stronger? a 6 bolt swap into a 2g or to stroke my current 7 bolt? i dont have CW just doing this so when or if it happens i already have the shortblock ready to be dropped in. thanks

Subscribing. I opted for the 7 bolt stroker cause they can be built strong also and I already have the block.

Im interested to see what people say.

I'm building a 6 bolt stroker for my 2g right now. They way I figured it was that I wanted no chance if I'm building up something. Plus if you ever want you could alway put the stock one back in an part out the built engine.

Hey I just realized you have a 99 which has the split thrust bearing in it. :thumb:

They don't have the walking problem. I was originally going to build the 95 7 bolt until I talked to JAM. I tried finding a 99 block but never had any luck so I decided to go 6 bolt.

I'd say just build up the 7 bolt.
