6 bolt swap in 2g questions

I picked up a 1995 TSi AWD a couple of months ago and the previous owner said it was 6 bolt swapped. I was wondering in the two circles in the picture what are these and why they are not hooked up. There is a bunch of vacumme lines going no where and these modules click every once and awhile.

The top one is the EGR solenoid. It's only for emissions purposes and _can_ be left unplugged as it is. It is technically illegal in some (all?) states but won't affect car operation. The clicking is form the solenoids activating, it's normal.

The plug on the bottom is for the MDP sensor which 1g's don't have. That can also be left unplugged and won't affect car operation but will throw a CEL (check engine light) unless the car has DSMlink or similiar.

Also, one or more of your injector plugs seem to be on backwards; maybe it doesn't matter?

thnx for the info i'll be removing the useless vac lines just hanging there. My car runs (eh ok) but has problems, i thought injector plugs were one way only with a "key" ?

Which ones are backwards ? Thanks !
