alright right now i have a 7 bolt in my 98 gsx im havin a 6 bolt built right now and then im going to be swapping it in. what do i need to chnage on the electrical side and anything in general.
?
 
As far as the CAS, you'll still need to do the rewiring because there is no location on the 1g for the crank angle sensor; it will have to be combined with the cam angle sensor. As for the AEM, I'm guessing you'll need to read up a great deal on that one.

I'm curious; if you're not sure how it should be wired, why spend all the money on it and not just have someone else do all the work? You'll need someone to do the tuning on the AEM unit correct?
 
That's just what I meant about the AEM unit. I'm thinking they're pretty pricey compared to a 1g EPROM ECU with ECMLink. I guess if it's gonna be a track only car with a lot of other sensors, the AEM unit saves a lot of hassle for logging. I think there is a fair amount of rewiring with that unit, though.
