Finally got enough bugs worked out to start her up this morning. I work at ford so all my non believer co-workers heard the sputtering 6bolt. I have a few issues with it as well as some tuning needs but other than that, it great. I found out that my mfi relay was gone and that caused me to think that my ecu was not any good. This morning I was looking stuff over and I found that my mfi relay was not operating properly, so I jumped it off just to see if it works and it did. It idled good with that key diver chip that I have. I have 780's in there. Sometime next week I am going to order a wideband and safc for tuning and in the meantime I am going to finish up a few problems that I have with it. I will let you know how it runs when I get it tuned and get it to the track for some high times and high traps.
here are the mods.............

I cant afford a dsmlink and I really dont need one. I think I can manage with just a safc ya know? I heard from a few friends of mine that a safc is good enough for my setup.

A wideband and afc will cost as much as dsmlink will. You will be able to tune out more of the bugs with the dsmlink then the afc. It sounds like you ecu is already socketed so that will save money.

You can do alot more than you think with a safc. I checked out the dsmlink a while back. A friend of mine said that it was too much for what it does. It doesnt matter anyway, i cant afford the dsmlink even if I wanted it.

i would go with dsmlink looking back and regreting this now.

i bought safcII + datalogger = about 600 bucks. Should have spent another 3 or 400 hundred and went with dsmlink so i could just disable the Randon Missfire and tune alot easier. Cause its not fun to deal with RM everytime i drive it. Def. get a wideband though. Innovative wideband is really nice. Nice mods otherwise :thumb:
