alright, i just assemebled my buddies 6 bolt short block today, we are using a 95 2g head on a 92 6 bolt block. i dont really understand what to do about the crank angle sensor, i was told u can wire it with the cam angle sensor, but now i see the the stock 95 sensor wont work for what im doing? so what do i need to make this work? and how do i wire it?? ive read the writeups but they arnt shinning much light on this:confused:

Ok. I just did this a few weeks ago so I am pretty clear on this.

The year of the ECU is important. You said your "buddies car" What car are we referring to?

95 head/92 6 bolt block, what ECU/Chassis?

Basically you take the 2 wires for the Crank Sensor, and the 2 wires for the Cam Sensor, and you wire them into the connector for the 1G CAS. The 1g CAS will supply both signals for the 2G ECU.

Questions?

ECU+? I don't know how good that is for deleting codes or tricking the ECU for not detecting some codes. Once you wire the 1g CAS up with the 2g crank angle sensor, you might run into a little problem. It's called RANDOM MISFIRE and your car will run on 3 cylinders once you hit closed loop. Your problem however will sometimes go away when your idling. To prevent this to happen you can either try to look for a HALL EFFECT CAS which came off a 93-94 (Black lid on this one), or the magnus way by sticking a varible resistor where your ECU is (www.magnusmotorsports.com), or you can get a DSMLINK which allows you to trick the computer. There is an option in the dsmlink where you can check off (Detect misfires) and once that does, you are set. :rocks:

were can i get that cas at and i cant find the section on wiring a variable resistor on the magnus website a lil help?
