Okay I have to replace my six bolt with a 2g head with a six bolt with a 1g head... What parts do I need? I already got the map sensor adapter.

my main question what about the coolant lines?
I need the 1g throttle body.
oh the motor mount on the front driver side the 2g the holes don't line do I use the 1g???? People please enlightenment me 2-3 mech have quit on me so I am taking this on.

You don't "need" the 1g tb you could just run the 2g tb with the 1g head and intake manifold though it is slightly smaller.

ok what about the water pipe lines they are different and the themostat housing in the 1g doesn't have place to add coolant I think my radiator is 2g it is similar to the one on my previous 2g gst

Whats the reason for going to a 6bolt head? What are your goals/plans?
the 6 bolt with 2g head was no longer in working conditions, so I bought a 6 bolt engine with a 1g head. ( I didn't know the first 6 bolt had a 2g head). Now I am trying to get all the pieces I need for the full 1g 6 bolts to work in my 96 gsx that had a 6bolt with 2g head.

The thermostat housing is different. The motor mount on the front driver side is different could I buy a 1g motor mount will that work.

My plans and goal is to go fast.

Honestly unless your planning for huge hp and torque numbers, than Id keep the 2g head. Its better for street driven dd and weekend warriors. The ports are smaller yes but they create more velocity and help out with low end power. Plus you wont have to go around changing a bunch of stuff. Now when you say is no longer working, what do you mean? Is the head or block broke? If fixing the 2g head isn't an option then go through with what your are doing.

I am not a mechanic this is my second dsm... So I am learning as I go. I believe the head had bent valves and a mechanic told me that the piston rings needed to be replace (I needed a full rebuilt).. That is why I bought a rebuilt engine.[DOUBLEPOST=1415854321][/DOUBLEPOST]The motor mount on the front driver side is different could I buy a 1g motor mount will that work.
