57 trim?'s

so ive read here that a garrett 57 trim is not a good matchto a 4g63. i got one with a broken shaft for free today(the guy didnt know the threds were left handed) so could i swap wheels and possibly machine the compressor cover if neccessary to make it a more dsm friendly? ti need a new turbine wheel as well so could i put a different turbine wheel as well? its a t3 >63 a/r turbine to4e 60 a/r compressor cover.thanks

unless you know if the journal bearing is good i would not mess with it if is good sounds like a nice little project to have fun with
