500AWHP 93 GSX Eclipse build

Well,
I bought my first DSM here recently. I paid $750 for it. The car would not go into gear and I immediately noticed that that floor was soaked in brake fluid due to a leaky master cylinder so I took the chance on the car. Little did I know, the transmission itself was bad as well. After trying to troubleshoot for a few weeks and figure out fuel cut issues, I finally discovered my trans issue. The car has 176k miles on it and a bad cam seal and just general wear on the motor, so I decided while I built the transmission it was a perfect time to build the motor as well. So today my journey begins... This weekend I will be pulling everything out and taking the motor apart. The trans is getting sent off to shep. Looking like I'm going to be running a stock crank, wiseco pistons and eagle rods combo. Turbo and fuel I haven't decided entirely yet. I have been leaning towards the idea of e85 though. While everything is out of the car it will be getting sent off for paint. Decided to go with charcoal gray. I will be posting pictures of the weekend progress and making sure I update as everything goes along. I am very excited for this learning experience and a very fun street car.

it is one of my favorites for sure! always wanted to paint a car that color, but never had the chance to until now. I'm actually getting a great deal on paint. I pay for the paint itself and change the guys clutch, he does the body work and labor for free. I'm going to look around a bit before I jump into anything. Thanks for your input though!

Yeah herd those were a little pricey! What are you ideas for you turbo set up?

Not completely sure on what I want to go for on the turbo. On the bright side, the mustang is FINALLY done and out of the garage, so I have time and space to start on the eclipse. That mustang was a huge headache... Here's a few pictures of the black b**** that held up my progress on my DSM.
