what type of injectors would i need to have when running a 50 trim
610cc 550cc???

650's at BARE minium. I personally would suggest a little bigger even, my 680s werent enough and i just went 880s, but i was doing around 26psi on pump gas. The 680's could have been enough but i had to bump fuel pressure to like 48psi.

I'm running 660 FIC.
What kind of timing you all getting?

I ran 550's at 18 PSI on my car with 23+ advance I now have 650's and run 20+ psi with the same advance I don't beleive 650 to be the minimum though. My car worked fine on 550's although it may have been a little much on the duty cycle :p

will i need a fuel pressure regulator if so what should my setup be??
i decieded to go with 680cc injectors to be on the safe side
if thats wrong let me know

but anyways let me know what my regulator setup should be

The 680cc injectors will support 520 flywheel horsepower at 100% duty cycle and 468 flywheel horse at 90% duty cycle. So 580's would be too small, the 680's would be just right :thumb:

I ran 680cc's, base FP at 37psi (stock) at 25psi on pump 93, knock was 1-4 counts, timing around 17-19.

Did a 12.3@112 on pump, stock intake mani, stock cams, blown AGX struts, and cooper touring SLE tires cutting a best of a 1.88 60ft =|

theyres such a thing as too much timing.

u quoted that u see as much as 19 degrees by redline. i see about 20 by redline and i shift at 7400. about 7300 i see 21-22 deg tops. whats the big difference there honkey? i dont see one honestly. so wtf are u talking about?

I am going with 710cc's hopefully tomorrow if Dejon got them out and UPS does their thing! I need some tips on tuning. I have 550's in now and I can run them` rich enough to hit fuel cut though it may be at a low rpm.
Just been running 15 PSI, hoping for 18 on the 710's.
I have noticed that timing will rise with the engine's RPM's. This normal? I know if the ECU sees lower air count it will increase timing. How do you do that?
I thought with higher fuel pressure the air count could be lowered allowing more timing with correct fuel from the additional base timing. Correct? All tips greatly appreciated. Mark

When tuning with large injectors without somethin better than s-afc or maft, you can bump the base fuel pressure up to around 45-50psi, so the s-afc can be leaned out so the airflow signal isnt altered as much.

But what i said earlier, ive always found my car to run best, as well as my friend maxing around 17* timing, 19 is usually higher than i let it get. too much timing on pump isnt a good thing, and to me, even just a few degrees difference, is big.

Leaning out the airflow is the problem. If you have 650ccs, you're already at approx. -30%. If you up the base pressure, you're going to make that number lower, therefore metering less air into the ECU and increasing timing advance.

Getting a 2G MAS doesn't help, either. You may not be leaning out anything on a SAFC, but your ECU is reading less air from the MAF.

In the end, you're going to be registering x amount of air for y amount of fuel flow.

i used to have a 50 trim blew up twice, but anyways i run 680's and my s-afc 2 is set at -30%'s so i would go with 680's just in case you blow it up and want to go with a bigger trim.

Well I ordered the 710/720's. My thinking is probably wisted but here I go again.
I plan to set my base pressure high, say 50 psi instead of 40 psi. Using the MAFT I will ean it at idle to run proper trims. Then at WOT I will have extra fuel which will allow me to lean allowing more timing but I will have the fuel there to run a safe A/F. Injectors due today. I will let you all know! Mar

exactly what did you do to blow to 50 trims?????
