were and how do i change my tranny fluid i have a 4g63 and a 5 speed standard it might soun d stupid but i need some help

Hey I'm doing that right now too. Check vfaq. It has a write up under drivetrain. But it's pretty easy make sure you use good fluid. I just picked up mine from jacks transmission, the evo fluid supposed to be the best and he sells it cheap.

On the front of the case there is a 17mm bolt that is the filler hole. No real way to check it without draining it. You could probably see if it's low by removing the filler bolt. If you got a lot of miles best to just change it.

For the answer that he's simply asking without beating around the bush about:

You pull the plug and put a finger in the hole. If you feel fluid on the end of the finger, the level is correct. If dry, time for a top-off or drain and replace with 75w90 tranny oil since you got the F5M22 Mitsu tranny.
