4G64 Filter Question

I bought one of those Ebay filters a while back. The MAS connector is 3", so I'm assuming any K&N 3" cone filter would fit fine, correct?

I also bought the ebay MAS filter and adapter. It works but you need to be sure that when you put the MAS adapter on, that you use some silicone or RTV to seal the adapter to the MAS. If that is not done your 4G64 will have idle problems. But other than that one problem, the intake adapter makes the engine sound a little louder and makes you feel not as bad for not having a turbo engine! Good louck with the intake!

Also, how do you keep your intake hose from falling? Most I see use zip ties, but I'm sure this can't be safe.
