4g64 ecu question

Was wanting to confirm that the 4g64 ecu.can still be used if you bolted on a turbo? Wouldn't the fuel system have to be changed?

The ecu would have to be flashed in order for it to be able to comprehend all that new forced induction air coming in. Otherwise there will not be enough gas being forced in and that car would run so lean that it probably won't stay running at all. Hope that helped!

You can still use the SOHC 4G64 Spyder ECU, however, the better option is to swap to a turbo ECU.

The MAS will tell the ECU how much more fuel to inject up to the point where the fuel system capacity is exceeded. It won't run lean, it will just hit fuel cut airflow quickly and shut off.
