A little background, I recently picked up a 4g64 6bolt narrow block with the intentions of destroking it to make a 2.1. On a different purchase I acquired a 2.3l strocker kit with some JE pistons, Eagle rods and a G4CS crank. But now I am leaning towards building a 2.4l with the 4G64.

My first question, are the G4CS and 4G64 6bolt cranks the same? Can I put the G4CS crank in the 4G64 block?

Are the rods for a 4G64 the same a the 4G63?

Which one of these engine setups is a better way to go?

Thanks

I'd build the stroker or just a 4g64 itself. The 4g64 and 4g63 rods are the same as long as they match the generation. As for the crankshaft I don't know the differences in those two you have.
