4g64 question?

I know there is a post somewhere in here that answers my question but I just can't find it. But anyway, does anyone know if the 4g64 block out of the eclipse gs spyder will bolt up to the gs-t tranny? If it does and I put a 4g63 head on (knowing I have to block some holes and use some special head gasket, and a flywheel that bolts up to that motor) what else does there have to be done to complete this swap? I'm trying to think other alternatives than dropping in a 6-bolt, as of which is easier.

Ya they bolt up they also bolt to GSX trannys. I am working in the head swap you mentioned. I know a few GSX guys running 4G64T wicked torque huge horsepower.

I think my tranny mite give out soon!! I feel it slipping gears and reving high in an automatic... i dont think thats supposed to happen, is it? Now Just saying if it does can i just get any gst tranny, whether its a spyder or not? or a awd tranny and bolt it up? What would be the best way of getting one of these? at a junkyard? off ebay? anywhere else you would recommend? or would a rebuild be better? help me out guys, i need my car!!

you can get any 2g gst tranny(95-99) and drop it in but the only catch is you have to install a clutch pedal and shifter cables
