whats a good site to get engines besides from people. I was looking at www.totaljdm.com and they look ok. anyone have boughten and engine from there? something with reliablilty and cheap

any "Low mile JDM" motor, is just a junkyard motor from japan. Usually its a little more expensive, but well worth it to just rebuild what you have, and KNOW its all good, rather than risking it with a Japanese junkyard motor.

really has anyone bought a jdm motor that their happy with? how much is the average rebuild because i have no compression in one of my cylinders. most likely do to the tip of my plug burning off and falling inside and scratching the wall but not 100% sure

No, It's either cheap, Or it's reliable. You cant have both in one. If you want cheap and reliable, Buy a honda. They're cheap and do not break.
