this car was fast as hell and fun as hell!:dsm:

Is this you car or someone elses? ### if it is I have a Whole LOT of questions for you.

I've always wanted to do this in my crx eversince i saw a 4g63t crx.

how did you do the harness?

custom motor mounts or stock?

axles?

linkage?

thes alot more to come...

can you post more pictures/

no it is a friends old car me and him revived the car the guy that did the swap works at english racing if you wont to no about it just call them and thay can tell you what you need to no to do it.when we got the car we had to poot a new head on and and fix a boost leak and get the car tuned. if you do do it i will guarantee you will like it but it will make the handa boys mad.LOL

Im sorry...i thing i just threw up a little :barf: it's like a bad dream.
I bet it hauls ass though!

yea it did we were cruising down the road at like 150 and it was still poling like crazy at least i think it was the needell was pointing all the way down it was fun:D

It was poling and the needell? You should spell check before you post.

meh, not my cup of tea.
I've seen the car for sale on CL before.

kind of a cool swap, just not something I would like to screw around in. Too easy to steal, and wayyyy too common.
I'd rather have a mirage or colt if I wanted something in that weight and uglyness.

+1 for an original swap!

That car has been whored out more times then Courtney Love. A reliable daily driven Civic was turned into an unreliable DSM with a grocery list of issues. The only thing that makes a DSM 1/2 tolerable is AWD+turbo and by removing the AWD component you've simply destroyed it LOL.

The swap was done awhile ago when the 4G63 was still considered the "God" of 4 cylinder motors, but now everyone knows the only thing the 4G63 has going for it is that it's strong as hell. Honda motors are much more efficient. A good built/boosted LS/Vtec swap or B20/vtec swap would make just as much power (if not more) as that swap and would be easier to tune and wouldn't have all the problems of a car with a motor in it that's not supposed to be.

It's a wonderful novelty item, but other than that it's just a big mess.

I totaly agree with that but a built honda engine no mater what is very pricey. A stock 4G63 will hold twice as much power as stock honda engine. Why spend all that money if you just go to the wrecking yard and pick up a 4G63 for dirt cheap.

One thing for sure Hondas and DSM don't mix well. Thats like eating mustard on your cereal.

+1 for the whore comment.

Debow... I didn't realize that this was the HB that you were referring to yesterday. I've seen this same car a couple different times when it was for sale. I do think that the swap, no matter how much of a PITA, would be worth it when you popped the hood in front of a bunch of Honda kids.

Walbro 255lp Fuel Pump.... $100

Freshly built 4g63... $5000

New Turbo.... $1200

Hours spent cursing at yourself for starting this project.... countless.

Watching the look on the face of that punk kid with the CRX when you pop the hood.... priceless!

Im not impressed with a honda with a 4g63 because...wow you have the same motor I do....except you paid 8k more than meROFL

actually they're very cheap pick up a hatch with a blown engine (timing belt snap) for 500 bucks all day long plus your 4g63, definitly original idea, I have a friend in atlanta with a NSX engine in the back of a crx. I would like to see someone do a swap with awd in something other than a 1g or 2g, I did know a guy with a 2.0 non turbo in a Dodge avenger, definitly a sleeper!!
